July 3, 2019 Inshore Report

Happy July 4th” sunshine, boating, barbecue and fire works, that is enough to get everyone excited. This month will offer plenty of explosive action as fire works and fish take action, hold on tight ,it is going to be a wild ride.

The beaches are teaming with snook and tarpon from south palm beach to Jupiter. Live baits and DOA Lure like the C.A.L. 3” tail the best methods for enticing strikes. The snook bite is fantastic for anglers fishing sea walls, docks, beaches and inlets. Live baits and DOA C.A.L. 3’ shad tail in bayou tiger great color to entice the snook to eat. Average size of the snook has been 5 to 20 pounds

Tarpon action is fantastic along the beaches early morning, use live baits ans DOA Bait busters fro great results. The inlets and inter coastal are great areas to target the silver king as they are schooled up in pods. Live mullet, pilchards or DOA C.A.L. in 3” shad tail in Arkansas glow or green back with get you hooked up.

The grass flats are teaming with a plethora of species, jacks, nook, red fish and tarpon just a few to mention. Look for birds and bait schools as starting point to locate predator fish., Live bats and DOA C.A.L. 3” shad tail in green back, will get the drag screaming.

Freshwater the peacock bass have been active but water levels are low deeper canals and cuts are places to locate the peacock bass and knife fish for consistent results. Live shiners or small twitch baits in orange or pearl colors get the strike.
